2019 has marked a significant milestone for McKenzie Higham Architects – 20 great years in practice! We began in 1999 with 4 staff members and are now a team of twenty-five.
We are very proud of the reputation we have built, of thoughtful quality outcomes delivered by our skilled team who have developed a great collaborative culture. Effective relationships and clear communication underpin all our work. Our talented team is what makes this possible - we have an amazing group of dedicated people on board.
Principals Callum and Mark McMillan are ably supported by our senior leadership team; Senior Associate Emma Alcock and Associates Mark Ansell, Chris Evans, John MacDonald and Rex Bultitude, who all bring considerable experience, a broad range of talents and a high degree of professionalism.
Whilst we undertake and enjoy a wide range of project types, education has become our dominant specialisation and we are justifiably proud of our achievements in this area. Our collaborative project approach works extremely well in this space, evidenced by the positive feedback from teachers, principals and students and Ministry clients.
The past 20 years have included some notable milestones:
We have been delighted to have received a number of Awards for our work across our 20 years, however the most significant recognition we receive is the personal recommendations and repeat business from happy clients.
Many thanks to all our current and past staff, whose hard work and contributions have helped build us into the practice we are today:
