Mark Higham Steps Down from Principal Role

2019 has been an eventful year for McKenzie Higham Architects for many reasons, not least as one of our founding Directors, Mark Higham, has decided to step back from his role as Principal and Director to pursue some of that elusive work / life balance.

Over the last 20 years Mark has made invaluable contributions that have shaped both the quality of our work, and the way we practice. He has amassed an enviable portfolio of work primarily, but not exclusively, residential. His projects are thoughtful, highly crafted and sensitive additions to their environments. A particular passion has been his very careful alterations to a significant number of much loved villas and bungalows, all realised with great skill.

Fortunately we won’t be losing Mark’s extensive architectural experience or his dry sense of humour! He will continue to work for McKenzie Higham in a Senior Architect role.

MHA’s Principals are now Callum McKenzie and Mark McMillan.
