We are delighted to announce that John MacDonald has become a Principal at McKenzie Higham Architects.
John joined us in 2018 when Bulleyment Fortune Architects merged with McKenzie Higham Architects and implemented a seamless integration of their existing clients, active projects and talented staff into our practice.
He has considerable experience as a project architect for hospital medical facilities, residential mental health care and seismic strengthening and remediation to heritage and commercial buildings. John now leads our busy Health Facilities team.
His intelligent, level-headed analysis and input have been invaluable to our senior leadership team, and we look forward to his contributions as a practice Principal. In addition, John joins McKenzie Higham Ltd as a Director with governance experience as a Board Member of Victoria House Inc and has also recently joined the Board of NZACS, the New Zealand Architects Co-operative Society, which arranges professional indemnity insurances to architect practices.
John’s positivity and distinctive humour are an asset to our practice culture – as are his outstanding crossword and quiz skills!
